Title: Solar Electrician
Job description: REEN are looking to expand our team of contractors by adding ambitious, self-motivated electricians who work in the solar industry, building and maintaining ground mounted solar farms to our team. We’re looking for a fully qualified electrician willing to work across the UK, with previous experience of working with low voltage electric on large scale solar farms.
Location: Nationwide
Hours: Working away Monday to Friday, open to working weekends.
Contract type: Full time contracts
Salary: Day rate dependant on experience.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Fully qualified Electrician
- PV experience
- Full UK driving license
- UTR/CIS number
Desirable:
- First aid qualifications
- Inspection and testing qualifications (C&G 2391 or 2394/5)
- Health & Safety qualifications (e.g. CSCS, IOSH, SSSTS)
- Advanced electrical qualifications
- Central inverter training qualifications
- High Voltage qualifications and authorisations
Duties and responsibilities
- Health and Safety is the top priority, following and improving safety standards across the solar farms
- Electrical low voltage work on solar farms
- Inspecting, testing and maintenance of PV panels, DC strings, AC cables and inverters
- Isolations of low voltage equipment, combiner boxes, string inverters and central inverters
- Installation of low voltage equipment, PV panels, combiner boxes, string inverters and central inverters, etc
- Occasionally assisting with technicians on ground or mechanical works
Experience:
- Large scale PV installation
- Low voltage installations
- DC installations
- DC fault finding, testing and commissioning
- Low voltage fault finding, testing and commissioning
Desirable knowledge:
- Previous experience and knowledge of large-scale solar technology
- Technical understanding of AC, DC and communications (ethernet and fibre optic communications)
- Principles and understanding of High Voltage
- Knowledge and training on specific central and string inverters
- Excellent communication skills, fluent written and spoken English
- Computer skills

Title: Solar Construction Laborers
Job description: REEN is currently recruiting for:
solar laborers / solar installers.
These positions are for full time employment. We at REEN are looking for loyal team members that have a proven commitment to safety, are accustomed to working outdoors, and can be committed to a full-time schedule.
Pay/Other

Competitive pay rate determined on current level of knowledge and experience.
Travel expenses with fuel allowance @ £0.45 per mile
18+ years of age
Traveling UK wide (potentially 5-days per week with accommodation and Per diem offered in addition to daily pay)
Key Responsibilities
- Follow safety policies and procedures and HSE legislation
- Maintain a clean job site and shake out material to the field and general clean-up following waste management best practices
- Bolt up clamps for solar panels & bolts to the proper torque specifications
- Lay Ducting in excavations
- Set/install solar modules to array frameworks – (non-electrical works)
- Maintain tools used for installation in proper working condition
- Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material following lifting best practices
- Ability to squat, crawl and work in awkward positions
- Proven commitment to safety and teamwork
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well with others

Title: SAP (senior authorised person)
Job description: REEN Energy are looking to expand their teams to help deliver a first-class service to our clients. Working across UK solar farms you will be leading site assessments on electrical (HV & LV) and civil works services, whilst compiling extensive reports on the jobs ahead in line with current legislation and industry best practice. You will be in regular contact with the office whilst working closely with the team on site.
Traveling UK wide (potentially 5-days per week with accommodation and Per diem offered in addition to daily pay).
To apply you must have: 2+ years of SAP-level High Voltage work experience, ideally from within the solar sector HV senior authorized up to 33kV. Trained with Nationally Recognised qualifications in HV operational works, either with a DNO or through other routes.

Title: CPCS Excavator/ Labourer
Job description: We are seeking a highly skilled and confident CPCS licence holder. The applicant must have experience in ground works and operating machines up to 10 tonnes.
The role will include working all over the UK as well as contributing to other roles on site.
